Sémaphore de l’île de Molène
Museum
Maritime, Lighthouse
Molène, always one eye on the sea. Explore the island and fall under the spell of its natural and cultural heritage. On your way, discover the semaphore tower whose two levels tell the story of this iconic island location. An interactive museum, it teaches visitors about the daily life of the people who worked in the tower. Missions to save ships carried out by the SNSM (the French Lifeboat Association) are retraced throughout history, and the story of the Drummond Castle, an English steamer wrecked in 1896, is also told.
