The bike ride that takes your breath away! Get on your bikes on this tourist trail around the tip of the Bigouden peninsula. On the Penmarc'h loop, you'll pass through the town centre and the small ports of Saint-Pierre and Kérity. Climb up to the Eckmühl lighthouse and take a break on the surrounding beaches. In Saint-Guénolé, discover the imposing rocks and sample the local produce. Finally, in the north-east, between marshes and fields, discover a number of megalithic sites. This loop takes in greenways and flat roads suitable for everyone. Start/finish point: Start wherever you like! Signposting: The signposting on the ground always takes precedence over the documents. If there are no markings, follow the path. Difference in altitude: 90 D+. Recommended bikes: MTB, ATV, EV Practical information : -Public toilets available on the route -The route passes through a playground -There is a picnic area on the route. The little extras: Thanks to the Bigoudenes by Bike signposting, you can set off from any point on the route. The five inter-bourg links allow you to go from one loop to another. ♥ Did you know? The Eckmühl Lighthouse can be visited from April to November. It is possible to access the platform, which offers a 360° panoramic view of the coast, villages and Pointe de Saint-Pierre. ☑ Advice before you set off: -Equip yourself well before setting off: check the condition of your bike (brakes, lights, tyres) and equip yourself with the repair kit.Wear a helmet: it is compulsory for under-12s and strongly recommended thereafter. Yellow waistcoats are compulsory outside built-up areas where visibility is poor. -Share the road and respect the rules: pedestrian areas, pavements. -Take something to eat and drink with you. 👍 Rules and good practice: -Make sure you don't leave any objects or rubbish behind: if there are no bins, take your rubbish with you. -Respect the fragile balance of flora and fauna in all areas. -Respect private property. 💡 To see the links and the route in detail, we recommend that you download the pdf below.
