Circuit de Penanroz
Starting from the Pontic Malo car park, set off to explore the Penanroz trail, a 4.5 km loop that combines nature and heritage in the heart of Pont-Aven.
The route takes you through the lush green Penanroz valley, along wooded paths and trails steeped in history. You’ll follow an old railway line, then discover the ruins of Rustéphan Castle, medieval remains nestled in the countryside, accessible via a 100-metre detour off the main path. The route continues along a former section of a Roman road and pleasant sunken paths, lined with wooded hillsides.
As you walk, let yourself be charmed by the scenic beauty and the peaceful atmosphere of the country lanes, before returning to the harbour and its mill. An easy walk, ideal for discovering another side of Pont-Aven, combining unspoilt nature and Breton heritage.
