La Trinité - Pleyben
This walk starts at the Chapelle de la Trinité in Lanridec. To get there by car from Pleyben, follow the signs for Lopérec until you reach the chapel. Built in the 16th century for the lords of Pennault, this chapel has a beautiful enclosure housing a pretty calvary with a pièta accompanied by an "angel of tenderness". You can see the lords' coats of arms on the chapel's chevet wall. Then follow the signs to Cosquinquis and Lanvorien. You will cross footbridges to cross a stream, while a grassy path takes you along the Gorz valley. From here, you can admire a magnificent panorama of the Monts d'Arrée range and Brasparts. You'll also pass through the village of Lézalain before descending back into the valley and taking a walkway overlooking the Douffine stream. From time to time along the way, you'll be surrounded by undergrowth, and from time to time, you'll skirt the banks of the Douffine. You might even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of herons, which are a common sight in this valley!
