The only surf school in the Pays des Abers is ideally situated, just 100 metres from the magnificent Grève Blanche beach. Due to its popularity, lessons are often fully booked, so don’t hesitate to book as soon as possible; alternatively, you can hire equipment to try surfing for yourself. Surf lessons are available at high tide only.
Stand-up paddleboarding trips to explore Aber Wrac’h and admire the Plouguerneau coastline from a unique perspective.
Surfing des Abers also offers introductory lifesaving courses.
Handisurf and Surf Santé accreditation:
- Established in 2017, Surfing des Abers was awarded the Handisurf accreditation in May 2018, a first for the Brest and northern Finistère area! The surf school aims to welcome people with physical, sensory, mental or psychological disabilities to help them discover the joys of surfing.
- It has also held the Surf Santé certification (the first in Finistère) since 2024.
