Dedicated to the mysterious Saint-Théa, the church chapel was the centre of the very poor parish of Lothéa, which was abolished in 1791. After worship ceased in 1949, the chapel fell into ruin. In 1985, a team of volunteers, helped by General de la Villemarqué, took up the challenge of rebuilding it. A team was formed and a conservation committee set about rebuilding the building. Many volunteers set to work. Year after year, the chapel has regained its walls, its roof, its stained glass windows and its traditional pardon on Trinity Sunday. The building also hosts a variety of cultural events. Today, it hosts services and cultural events.
