The Manoir de Kérazan was originally built in the 16th century and partially reconstructed in the 18th century. It is one of the oldest seigneurial estates in Pays Bigouden and was bequeathed to the Institut de France in 1928 by Joseph-George Astor. A wonderful illustration of life in a Breton country house during the 19th century, including reception rooms, a smoking room, library, billiard room and an important collection of paintings inspired by Brittany. There are also exceptional pieces of Quimper pottery including a unique cello by Alfred Beau. The English-style grounds of 5 hectares include a kitchen garden with a medieval lay-out and a fish pond. There is a in the grounds. Function rooms can be hired for receptions and seminars all year round. The 5 hectares of grounds around the house are still in 19th century English-style with winding pathways, broad lawns, plenty of shade and a hint of Romanticism. The original entrance to the property was protected and made more attractive by a dry moat. A tea shop is provided in the park.
