Centre d’Étude du Milieu Ouessantin
Hiking
There's no doubt that the wonder of observing a biodiversity as rich as that of Ushant Island contributes to respect for nature and the preservation of the environment. That's why, since its creation, CEMO has always been committed to providing information, raising public awareness and educating people about the environment and sustainable development.
The main environmental education activities carried out by CEMO consist of organising "discovery of the natural environment" outings in the company of a naturalist guide. These outings are open to all (schoolchildren, naturalists, associations, the general public, etc.).
1 - Cliff birds
2- Migratory coastal birds
3 - Evolution of the landscape, fauna and flora of the north coast
4 - Fauna and flora of the south coast
5 - Seaweed and seaside animals
Courses are organised at weekends or over the course of a week for both beginners and experienced naturalists. They generally focus on the recognition and identification of different groups of flora and fauna. (For more information, contact the secretariat or see the news section).
