Is it a good idea to tell a story as sad and dark as Victor Hugo's Les Misérables today? Do the dramatic and intertwined fates of Jean Valjean, Fantine, Cosette, Javert, Thénardier, Marius & Co really have anything to tell us nearly two centuries later? "Yes, they do, and we're going to have a good laugh at the same time! Having already adapted Shakespeare's Hamlet and Zola's Germinal for the street, the duo are now revisiting this seminal 19th-century novel to produce an interactive show for all ages in their own style: a pink library... but not quite so pink!
