Riolet #1 – Typhaine Corre et Tangi Le Gall-Carré

A few years ago, the Liorzh Sant Weltaz association acquired a number of plots of land around the Saint Gildas fountain in Guissény. The initial aim was to preserve and enhance the surrounding hedged farmland. Little by little, the project has evolved into a kind of Swiss Army knife of outdoor activities... Activities, courses, festivals, the creation of an orchard, the production of apple juice, the apple festival and the hosting of outside associations for cultural events. One of LSW's summer highlights is the RIOLETS.

A RIOLET? What's a RIOLET? It's an evening show during which rice pudding is cooked in a wood-fired oven. Depending on the duration of the show, the rice will be dourek, sec'h, krignet, krazet or suilhet: the 5 states of a rice pudding, from liquid to charred.

The concert:
Singer Typhaine Corre and accordionist Tangi Le Gall-Carré will be performing a concert featuring songs from their new album, Gouloù mil steredenn.
The main theme is the emancipation and rights of women, highlighting strong female figures through music composed entirely by Tangi Le Gall-Carré.
Deeply rooted in the local language, the duo draw their inspiration from the sensitive and moving lyrics of poet Naig Rozmor and writer Herve ar Gall. On stage, the voice and accordion combine to give body and soul to the poems and melodies. Their
Their musical complicity and talent give us an opus faithful to the emotion and energy that characterise them. This colourful creation oscillates between poetic sweetness and vibrant outbursts, offering a real immersion in a universe that is both refined and exalted.

Opening act: An evocation of Naig Rozmor's life and work.

On the magnificent site of Saint-Gildas in Guissény, the Liorzh Sant Weltas association will be offering entertainment (Breton games) from 6pm. On site: refreshment bar, meal from 7pm, picnic for those who wish.

The show starts at 8.30pm in the open-air theatre. In the event of bad weather, the evening will be spent in the shelter of the "n'hangar", transformed for the occasion into a Pagan Zenith. At the end of the evening, LSW will treat you to the famous "Rice pudding" cooked over a wood fire.
