Jeanne-Marie Gilbert brings to life the art of singing accompanied by the lute, the guiterne and the vièle, in the purest tradition of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Her programme comprises songs by trouvères and troubadours, cantigas, poetic songs from the Renaissance and Baroque courtly airs. The texts and music by the most talented artists of France, Spain, Italy and England from the 13th to the 17th centuries invite you on a journey filled with poetry, gentleness and harmony.
