Line Aressy’s paintings invite the viewer on a stroll through silent, timeless landscapes. Inspired by the figure of the walker, the artist creates compositions in which humankind and nature engage in a dialogue within a space that invites reverie.

The chapel:
Built in the 15th century on a rocky outcrop in the small priory of Bréventec, the chapel of Loc Mazé was a dependency of St Mathieu’s Abbey and dedicated to that saint. It was built in the 18th century and restored from 1986 onwards by the ‘Buhez ha plijadur e Lok Maze’ association. Of particular note are the stained-glass windows by contemporary artists (1999) and the polychrome statues of St Mathieu and St Anne.
