Bagad de Lann‑Bihoué

As ambassadors of traditional Breton music and the French Navy, the most renowned of the Bagadoù is taking to the stage of the Grands Théâtre for the first time to mark the 400th anniversary of the French Navy.

Combining high standards with passion, this bagad has been promoting the French Navy both in France and abroad since 1952.
It draws inspiration from the traditional Breton repertoire whilst remaining open to other musical worlds. Thus, through their travels across five continents, the 30 pipers and the Penn Bagad have drawn on a wealth of influences to reinterpret their repertoire.
From ‘Azerty’, their signature piece, to the Latin percussion in ‘Le Lion de Cléopâtre’ from the Asterix cartoon – a programme that promises to be a colourful affair!
