“Toyo is a construction pipe, all cold, all stiff, all hollow… what a find! Adèle, the violinist, makes Toyo sing; all sorts of sounds seem to come out of it… Gillou, the contortionist, tames Toyo; they hit it off straight away and, as Gillou is very – really, really – flexible, he slips inside and makes himself comfortable… For Gillou, Toyo becomes a shell, a costume, a hat, a tightrope walker’s tower!
Then we hear the sound of the violin; Gillou falls under the spell of the melody, and before we know it, he and Toyo are swept away in a melancholic dance… Truly, they love each other…”
