Concert Howlin’ Jaws & Komodor

Howlin’ Jaws
For their eagerly awaited third album, the Parisian trio Howlin’ Jaws have teamed up with Swedish producer Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm (who has worked with Foals, The Hives, José Gonzalez and Junip) and take a major step forward, affirming the universal appeal of their explosive yet elegant psych-rock.
“Living The Dream” encapsulates just about everything we’d ever dreamt of hearing from Howlin’ Jaws. Here, more than ever, their dreams take the form of unifying choruses, transforming grief or separation into genuine bursts of hope. Rich in flavour and humour, this eleven-track album is equally generous in the diversity of its influences. Disco floats through, country creeps in, whilst certain trippy flights of fancy remind us of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
All in all, however he goes about crafting his albums, Howlin’ Jaws proves he’s never short of imagination.
Their standout performance at God Save The Kouign in 2024 is well worth noting!

Komodor
Komodor deliver raw, authentic high-energy rock, straight from Douarnenez. The band isn’t here to dust off the past, but whilst drawing inspiration from the genre’s traditions, they breathe a breath of modernity into their sound: raw guitars, harmoniously intertwined vocals and a deeply rooted groove. Their style, organic and wild, makes no compromises.
Their new album showcases a significant musical evolution: more personal and freer, it breaks away from convention to embrace a more authentic approach. Through a subtle blend of influences and creative daring, they prove that their music has never been more contemporary, whilst retaining the madness and raw energy that define them. Remaining true to their legendary influences such as MC5, David Bowie and T. Rex, Komodor injects a healthy dose of wild poetry into their daring compositions, drawing on the world around them to inspire tracks of great intensity.
Komodor isn’t just a band, it’s an experience in its own right!
