Breizh Kayak Évasion

Canoeing and kayaking

Supervised 3-hour hikes in the Molène Archipelago to the islands of Balanec and Triélen. Discover the largest seaweed fields in Europe, deserted islands and in the corner of a rock you may be lucky enough to meet grey seals... The Molène archipelago is a group of islands and islets located in the far west of Finistère in Brittany, between the port of Le Conquet and the island of Ouessant. The diversity of landscapes and the biological wealth of the Iroise Sea make it a heritage of unique value. It was to protect this exceptional heritage that the Iroise Marine Nature Park was created in 2007 (France's first Marine Nature Park). Sea kayaking is a great way to discover the Molène Archipelago. Ecological, fast, silent and seaworthy, it blends into the environment, bringing you into close contact with the flora and fauna... We hire short and full wetsuits. You'll need shoes and close-fitting, water-resistant sportswear. Cotton stays cold when wet, while synthetic fabrics keep the body drier. Sunscreen, sunglasses and headgear are also useful. Buoyancy aids and waterproof water bottles. You'll need a membership card to take part in outings or hire a kayak.
