Created in 1897 by an enthusiastic botanist, the Georges Delaselle garden on the Ile de Batz is a world apart. In its sheer exuberance it contrasts with the surrounding marine environment. The palm grove features a rare collection of palm trees, which flourish in the island's mild climate, while the rock garden is home to exotic species of cactus and succulent. Each garden area transports you to a different part of the world.
The crossing from Roscoff takes 15 minutes, then the garden is just 15-minutes walk from the landing stage (1.2 km).
