The V45 coastal route
The Finistère coast by bike
Like the GR®34 hiking path, the V45 coastal route is a cycle route that runs along the Finistère coast, eventually taking you all the way to Nantes. This route is currently being developed and improved. Several stages are already operational in Finistère and you’ll find a safe, signposted cycle route ready to enjoy.

Between steep coasts, breathtaking cliffs, vast bays, tiny coves, historic towns and maritime cities, the V45 Coastal Route in Finistère is the cycling sister of the GR®34 hiking trail, following the coastline all the way, and well worth the effort required! Although it’s currently being improved, the route already offers some great escapes: from Locquirec to Roscoff (EV4-Vélomaritime), and from Roscoff to Plougastel-Daoulas via the Abers, the Iroise and Brest. The southern section of the route starts at our Land’s End, the Pointe du Raz, then leads down to the Laïta River at the gateway to Morbihan. Don’t miss the southern coast of the Cap Sizun, heading down from Audierne towards the Bigouden region, the Breton Riviera, Concarneau, then the waterways of Aven and Bélon, and finally Le Pouldu.
