Walk along Penfoulic Cove and La Forêt Cove and discover the charms of La Forêt-Fouesnant. These two inlets offer a chance to admire a wide variety of flora and fauna. The circuit starts at the market square and continues up to the heights of La Forêt-Fouesnant, where you will cross a pretty educational garden. You will then reach the coastal path with its magnificent views of Penfoulic Cove. The path then leads you to the Old Port, where you can cross the footbridge to the Port-La-Forêt marina. Finally, you will walk along the beautiful Mesmeur alley to return to the starting point.

1 Départ

Sur le parking de la place de la Baie prendre le giratoire et emprunter sur 100m la rue de Pen Ar Ster. Tourner à gauche et remonter sur 250m le chemin de Pen Ar Ster. Prendre le chemin à gauche et traverser le jardin pédagogique.

2 Etape 1

Prendre à droite au giratoire puis à gauche après 100m. Au carrefour prendre à droite puis à 50 m prendre à gauche. Après avoir traversé le parking de l’espace culturel, prendre sur la rue des Cerisiers. Emprunter le chemin qui surplombe la rue de Kroas Prenn puis suivre à droite la D44 sur environ 150 m. Traverser la D44.

3 Etape 2

Prenez la petite rue de Ty Glaz. A l’intersection de la route de Prat ar Zant tourner à droite. Après 100m, tourner à droite route de Pontérec. Poursuivre jusqu’au corps de ferme qui se trouvera sur votre gauche et le traverser pour emprunter un chemin boisé sur 250m.

4 Etape 3

Face au lavoir, prendre à droite pour longer l’étang de Penfoulic. Continuer sur ce chemin boisé jusqu’à l’intersection de la digue de Penfoulic. Continuer sur le sentier qui longe l’anse de Penfoulic jusqu’aux viviers sur 700m. Tourner à gauche avant les viviers pour emprunter un chemin boisé et retrouver le sentier côtier.

5 Etape 4

Ouvrir et refermer la porte après votre passage puis prendre à gauche. Avant d’arriver à la grève emprunter le sentier à gauche. Après 250m, face aux viviers, retrouver la route de Kérist. Longer la corniche de la cale du vieux port.

6 Etape 5

Depuis le jardin de la cale au vieux port, emprunter la passerelle. Après 250m, tourner à gauche dans un chemin boisé. Longer l’anse de La Forêt pour retrouver le point de départ.
