Family walks in Penmarc'h and discovery of the secret megaliths of the Pays Bigouden This walk is ideal for families. You'll follow straight paths along the shore between Kérity and Le Guilvinec. History will take centre stage at Poulguen, where you'll discover a number of remains: ruined mills, dolmens, burial mounds and a fountain. Along the way, you'll find picnic areas and several children's playgrounds. Start/Finish point: Port de Kérity in Penmarc'h Signposting: Yellow PR Field markings always take precedence over paper or digital documents. Height difference: 50.5m Direction of route: anticlockwise Practical information : -Public toilets available on the route. Advice before setting off: Make sure you're well equipped before you set off: drinks, snacks and a bag to take your rubbish in. Notice to walkers: -To respect the integrity of the natural environment you are crossing, it is essential to attach rubber tips to the ends of your poles. -You are liable as a walker in the event of an accident resulting from carelessness or inattention on your part. -Remain discreet and courteous with other users and local residents. Walking with your dog: The route passes through a built-up area as well as protected natural spaces, so you must keep your dog on a lead throughout the walk. -Be careful not to take your dog down to the beach during the closed season (1 May to 30 September). Outside this period, dogs must be kept on a lead.
