Itinéraire cyclable du Train Birinik n°2902 - Pont-l'Abbé - Saint-Guénolé
Before it became a cycle route, the birinik was the nickname given to the railway line that ran from Pont-Guern to Pont-l'Abbé, Treffiagat and the stations at Plobannalec, le Guilvinec, Penmarc'h, Kérity and Saint-Guénolé. The route links Pont-l'Abbé to the port of Saint-Guénolé (Penmarc'h) via the towns of Plobannalec-Lesconil, Treffiagat and le Guilvinec. This route, known as the Birinik, largely follows the route of the old railway that used to run through part of the southern Bigouden region. The route is now signposted to indicate the direction of the communes. Start : Rue du petit train de Pont-l'Abbé Finish: Rue Danielle Casanova in Saint-Guénolé Penmarc'h Signposting: The signposting on the route always takes precedence over the documents. If there are no markings, follow the path.
